The composition of the medical water of Zalakaros – due to the variety and amount of minerals and trace elements – is unique in Europe, containing various organic materials and soluble salt, its content of alkali-chlorides, hydrogen carbonate, iodine, bromide, hydrogen sulphide, fluoride, boric acid and methacrylate is significant.
