In the more than half a century of Zalakaros Spa's life, there has hardly been a year when it has not improved its services or renewed a department. The medicinal water, which rises from a depth of 2,500 metres and has a unique composition in Europe, and the wide range of balneological services based on the medicinal water play a key role in the tourist destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the thermal water of Zalakaros that has determined the economic and touristic situation of the town from the very beginning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The domed swimming pool of the spa centre and the directly connected spa garden have always been one of the flagship facilities of the spa, representing the priority services of the complex in the two decades following its opening, and this is the case now as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, many parts of the spa have been upgraded, the family-friendly facilities have been improved, the indoor pool has been renewed, and now it is time to restore one of the most impressive parts of the spa, the spa centre, which has been serving guests for more than 25 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Czir\u00e1ki emphasized that the entire reconstruction was done while preserving the unique atmosphere, form and style of the building. A new roof structure was built, the windows were replaced, a completely new cladding was installed, the reception area was renewed, including the associated bathrooms. A special indoor saltwater pool, a spa pool and a thermal pool complex, as well as comfortable relaxation areas have been created. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spa garden, which is open until late autumn, was made available to our guests at Easter, with the renewal of the paving of the walkways and the sunbathing terrace, and the replacement of the entire length of the fence separating the spa garden from the beach. The garden in the spa garden, which is surrounded by existing trees, has also been renovated, with new vegetation for those who wish to relax,\" said the CEO, adding that the parts of the building not visible to guests have been strengthened, the foundations have been reinforced, the mechanical systems have been renewed, a new heating system, air conditioning and swimming pool technology have been installed, so the building's mainspring has been completely renovated. The energy improvements have enabled cost-effective operation: the electrical network has been modernised and energy-saving LED lighting has been installed. These works accounted for a significant part of the renovation and are of major importance from an operational point of view. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The renovation of the building has created a high quality relaxation zone for the guests of the spa, away from the noisier experiences, where the focus is on quality relaxation, recreation and recharging in a quiet environment. Guests can enjoy world-class therapeutic waters in a cosy environment with comfortable relaxation areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can visit the spa centre with a complex ticket, which includes the use of the nearby sauna courtyard until the end of 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents of Zalakaros can benefit from the usual 50% discount, and we cordially invite residents of our town to try out the renewed facility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the completion of the project, Zalakaros Spa Zrt. will also start the process of obtaining the EuropeSpa Med five-star international certificate of the European Spa Association (ESPA). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
