\nThanks to its aloe vera content, this newly developed face cream moisturises, conditions, refreshes, nourishes and soothes the skin, whilst strengthening its natural defences. It is the perfect choice for all skin types as it does not weigh the skin down, is absorbed extra quickly, and leaves the skin\u2019s surface velvety smooth! Its collagen content helps to leave the skin soft and moisturised. The medium-sized hyaluronic acid helps maintain the skin\u2019s firmness and elasticity. It cares for and nourishes even sensitive and irritated skin. Thanks to hyaluronic acid\u2019s water-binding properties, the face remains soft and nourished at all times, whilst its betaine content strengthens the skin\u2019s defences and protects it against external influences. It also works excellently as a make-up base, as it leaves the skin\u2019s surface feeling velvety smooth.<\/p>\n
Main special ingredients:
\nMEDIUM-SIZED HYALURONIC ACID: penetrates deeper into the skin, where its water-retaining properties help to keep the skin hydrated. It stimulates the skin\u2019s own production of hyaluronic acid, helping the skin to remain firmer and more youthful, whilst also improving the structure of collagen fibres. It strengthens the connections between cells in the skin\u2019s upper layer, thereby preventing water from evaporating from the deeper layers of the skin.
\nALOE VERA: moisturises \/ The plant is native to South Africa but is cultivated in many parts of the world (India, China, Egypt) and is even used as an ornamental plant. It contains mucilage and resinous substances, such as aloe emodin. The plant\u2019s mucilage consists of high-molecular-weight polysaccharides. Both substances have antiseptic properties and an anti-inflammatory effect. The extract also has astringent properties, whilst, thanks to its composition, it is easily absorbed and moisturises the epidermis.
\nVITAMIN E: neutralises harmful free radicals, thereby helping to delay the appearance of wrinkles and maintain the skin\u2019s firmness. Vitamin E, also known as tocopherol, increases the skin\u2019s moisture content, softness and smoothness. It is also known for its sun-protective properties, shielding the skin from harmful rays. It plays an important role in preventing the formation of free radicals. Free radicals are also produced in the skin as a result of ultraviolet radiation, and they damage the skin\u2019s structure. This is partly responsible for skin ageing and the development of skin cancer. In cosmetic products, it is used as an anti-ageing vitamin. When used in high concentrations (2\u20135%), it has good cell-protective and revitalising effects.
\nGREEN TEA: has moisturising and anti-ageing properties and helps prevent wrinkles. The tea plant is actually a shrub that grows to the size of a small tree and is native to China and India. Green tea differs from black tea in that it does not undergo a fermentation process (which black tea does, which is why it turns black), and thus retains its beneficial compounds in their natural form. It contains flavonoids, including catechins and tannins; its most significant component is epigallocatechin-3-gallate, an organic ester compound containing three aromatic rings, which is, amongst other things, one of the most powerful antioxidants; research is currently underway into its potential use as an anti-cancer drug. It is also known to have astringent, anti-inflammatory, cleansing and antiseptic properties, as well as the ability to regulate sebum production.
\nCOLLAGEN: Collagen is a protein molecule, which animal organisms are capable of synthesising themselves; it accounts for 30\u201335% of the total body protein content, and there are numerous types (28) which perform their functions in different parts of the body. It is present in significant quantities and performs various functions in connective tissues, in the dentine that forms the teeth, in bones, joints, tendons, the cornea and even in blood vessels. Regardless of its type, collagen is primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity (structural rigidity) of the tissue in question. Proteins are composed of amino acids; the vast majority of collagen consists of glycine, proline, and (in the presence of the cofactor vitamin C) hydroxyproline and hydroxylysine. It has a triple-helix spatial structure (a helical or spiral structure comprising 2 alpha-1 and 1 alpha-2 chains), which gives it high tensile strength and resistance to mechanical stress (which is why the skin does not sag and bones do not break spontaneously). As we age, collagen synthesis slows down compared to its initial rate, which is why wrinkles, aching joints and slower-healing wounds begin to appear over time.
\nGRAPE SEED OIL: An excellent \u201eskin-beautifying\u201d oil. It does not clog the pores, is easily absorbed, moisturises, and softens the skin, leaving it silky smooth. Its antioxidants support skin regeneration and help prevent the formation of wrinkles. It optimises collagen production and also has anti-inflammatory properties.
\nOil made from grape seeds is very rich in unsaturated fatty acids (essential fatty acids, also known as unsaturated fatty acids, which the body cannot produce itself, but are essential organic compounds for the body to function properly), such as linoleic acid (\u00bb70%) and oleic acid (\u00bb15%), as well as vitamin E (tocopherol). Due to its fluid consistency and good absorption properties, this oil is suitable for cosmetic use; it leaves the skin feeling silky smooth and helps to maintain the skin\u2019s moisture content.
\nAVOCADO OIL: Avocado oil consists of unsaturated fatty acids. The oil is extracted from ripe fruit and contains relatively high levels of vitamins A, B1, B2, C and E. The phytosterols (organic compounds with a plant sterane backbone) it contains are similar in structure to the cholesterol found in the skin. Thanks to these properties, avocado oil nourishes dry, chapped and eczema-prone skin and promotes cell renewal. It is often used for sensitive, inflammation-prone skin, as well as for treating scars.
\nBETAINE: Its two most important properties are moisturisation (which it performs more effectively than glycerine) and protection against irritation. Because of this latter property, it is also used to counteract or mitigate the effects of other irritating ingredients.
\nGLYCERINE: It is naturally present in the human body and therefore does not cause irritation or allergic reactions. It is an excellent moisture-absorbing molecule, as it helps the skin retain moisture by attracting and binding water molecules. When combined with urea \u2013 in cases of dehydration \u2013 it significantly increases the skin\u2019s permeability and helps other moisturisers penetrate the skin.<\/p>\n
