On 12 September 2024, the awards of the Grand Prize for Value and Quality were presented at the Parliament House.

This year, 38 applications from 32 applicants earned the trademark and distinction.

„The Value and Quality Grand Prix certification mark can be awarded to goods, services and economic organisations that meet high quality standards and have a demonstrable commitment to quality in their activities.”

After 2023, the Zalakaros Spa could again receive the Grand Prix in 2024. The winning entry is called Energy Innovation with Zalakaros Thermal Water. The award was accepted by Andor Végh, CEO of Zalakaros Spa Zrt. and Péter Antal, the company's Operations Manager.

In recognition of the protection of the environment, the preservation of the earth's ecological balance, the promotion of sustainable civilisation, the Value and Quality Grand Prix Energy Efficiency and Environment Award. The Award of Excellence is given to solutions, products or systems that contribute in a measurable way to the reduction of carbon emissions, the creation and development of an energy-efficient environment, sustainability and the reduction of the ecological footprint. The Award of Excellence was presented by the Zalakaros Family, Experience and Spa Zrt. Energy innovation using the thermal water of Zalakaros.

Zalakaros Spa has been awarded 3 special prizes in addition to the two great awards.

Andor Végh said that the award is a worthy recognition of the joint and cohesive teamwork. Without the support of the people of Zalakaros and the staff of the spa, the changes would not have been possible. The spa has embarked on the path of sustainability.
