Éva Vámos, a journalist of Turizmis.com, talked to László Cziráki, the general manager of the spa. In the interview it was said that in 2019 the performance of the Zalakaros Spa exceeded expectations in terms of attendance and efficiency, which, in addition to the recognition of visitors, also won professional awards.
The number of guests of Zalakaros Spa exceeded the planned level by about 3 percent, and the company's result increased by almost 5 percent accordingly.
László Cziráki said that the year 2020 will not be without developments: a youth hostel with more than 40 beds and teachers' rooms will be built on the floor of the building in the northern part of the spa. They want Zalakaros to become an even more popular destination for school trips. A car camping site will be started on an area of almost one hectare directly adjacent to the beach. They also plan to modernise the access control system, replacing the software, installing new access gates and offering cashless payment. A significant amount of money is also earmarked for the maintenance and renovation of the beach pools.
